New Nintendo Console Coming After April 2012

Satoru Iwata, President and CEO of Nintendo, announced to investors today that the new Nintendo Console, codenamed “Project Cafe”, will not release until after April, 2012.

Western developers already have their hands on the system to supply titles for the systems launch. The announce of a later release date should allow extra time for those working with the system, and for developing titles for the systems launch.

The news comes a day after Nintendo announced that more details will be revleaed at this years E3 event, as well as a playable demo of the system.
