Following Activision Blizzard announcing the Vivendi Sierra games portfolio, several titles and developers were left up in the air as to the status of their development. One of them included developer Double Fine Studios upcoming heavy metal action title, Brutal Legend.
A new update on the Double Fine Action News blog has revealed an reassuring message to fans of the game.
Mouse-over text on an image of a dead weevil posted today reads simply, “Brutal Legend is fine.”
Brutal Legend stars Jack Black as a heavy metal roadie forced to battle demons in a fantasy realm. Headed by an acclaimed ex-Lucasarts developer, Tim Schafer, the third person action game is in development for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
