Sega has revealed that a new iteration of the House of the Dead series will be coming to the Nintendo Wii.
The House of the Dead Overkill is set as the prequel to the first HotD and will debut early next year exclusive to the Wii console. Development is currently being handled by Headstrong Games, who previously worked on Batallion Wars 2 (Wii).
Overkill will support cooperative play for two players and sports a bevy of hyperbole statements such as “relentless, gore-drenched, over-the-top action”, “non-stop light-gun style action,” and “perfect head-popping shot” with “Slow-Mofo Time.”
