Leipzig 08: Grand Theft Auto IV PC Details and Shots

Details about the PC port of Grand Theft Auto IV are trickling in from the Leipzig Games Convention.

The first of which involves the implementation of a replay editor which will allow players to save and edit the last 30 seconds of gameplay. Movie making tools such as filters, effects, and camera angles will be supported. The 30-second clips can then be edited together to create a longer video using the “Montage Editor.” The video can then be shared over the Rockstar Social Club network.

Changes will also be made to the multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto IV. While details were sparce, Rockstar is hinting at increasing the overall player count for servers, originally a max of 16 players, in the PC version. Also, server filters are said to be included, allowing players to find matches with specific settings much easier.

The graphics itself is improved for the PC version which supports realistic lighting and higher character and environment detail. Resolutions up to 2560×1600 will be supported.

The PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV will be coming November 18th.
