Sunday, August 31st, marks the 13th anniversary of the original Command and Conquer: Red Alert, the classic real time strategy game from EA Westwood Studios.
To celebrate the occasion, Electronic Arts is giving away the game for free as a digital download. No indication of how long the download will be up, but the publisher confirmed it will be available all day on the 31st.
The free download will be available on the Red Alert 3 website in a promotion for Red Alert 3 which will be coming to PC and Xbox 360 in October. Those who pre-ordered the game will also recieve a free download of Red Alert 2.
