Sin City Developer Changes Hands

Publisher Red Mile has revealed that the upcoming game inspired by Frank Miller’s Sin City graphic novels will no longer be developed by Transmission Games.

The Unreal Engine 3 powered title has shifted development houses “quite a long time ago,” though offering no details on the current developer working on the game. Transmission is currently working on Heroes Over Europe.

Once formerly known as IR Gurus, Transmission Games has been responsible for titles that include Lucinda Green’s Equestrian Challenge, Heroes of the Pacific, and Heatseeker. The studio is currently developing Heroes Over Europe, a flight action game set to debut on PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 next year.

Few details have been released on the Sin City game since its initial announcement in May 2007. The use of Unreal Engine 3 gives likely indication for the title to appear on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 though rumors have speculated on a Wii release, not PC, by the end of 2009.
