PS3 NewsWire – 17th January

Lovely, I woke up this morning and surprised myself that I had no hangover. Only to find out there was a pile of sick in my sink. Yep, after this newswire i’m going to finish the job and bleach the fucker.

In the news today, Pachter changes his mind, Battlefront 3 original designs, No GTAV in 2009 and North American Resident Evil 5 collectors Edition revealed.

Pachter Changes his mind

After seeing the latest NPD report, Michael Pachter has stated that the PS3 won’t be having a price cut in April, but is still sure one will happen this year, and still believes the price cut will put it almost on par with the 360 in terms of monthly sales.

Battlefront 3 Original Designs

Free Radical released designs on an evil Obi-wan. Just a shame They will no longer be running the development and lets hope the new developers pick up some of there ideas.

No GTAV in 2009

Rockstar have officially stated that there will be no new GTA game this year after Game Informer stated the next title will be released this year. Rockstar also commented on a second DLC which will be due for release before the end of October.

NA Resident Evil 5 Collectors Edition

It will include a Tricell messenger bag, Chris Redfield figure, BSAA patch, Steel case, necklace and a bonus disc. I must say, quite the beefy offer.
