Hi, what are you looking for?

PS3

You WON’T Be Playing Final Fantasy XIII Until 2010

Well unless you live in Japan which is still scheduled for a release this year.

Yesterday we posted a rumour stating that a US release could be seen this year. Now consider that dream gone, the horse’s mouth has spoken. Reuters spoke with Square-Enix boss Yoichi Wada about end of year sales in which he said:

Overseas launches of the latest “Final Fantasy” game will come in the business year from April 2010 or later.

Bummer. Since the game will still have the same release date for the PS3 and 360 version here in the west, getting the game this year was wishful thinking. So we can expect to play the game 4 years after it was originally announced. Lightning, see you in a year.
