Electronic Arts officially announced Army of Two: The 40th Day, the co-op game sequel to the first starring Salem and Rios.

The premise of the sequel will revolve around Salem and Rios in Shanghai, China which is almost completely ruined. As they traverse through the city, they will try to uncover the secret meaning behind the 40th Day.

Games can expect more co-op moves to provide a more “organic and immersive” experience.

EA Montreal’s Army of Two: The 40th Day will be coming this winter for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PSP.
