Sony Europe Debates on Suing Over Early Death Ad in UK

Change4Life mission recently released an ad linking video games to obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. While they encourage children to be active at least an hour a day, which should be noted. In no way should they be showing a boy who is not enjoying himself playing video games with a clear product that resembles the PlayStation’s controller.

A source close to Sony revealed to MCV that the agency behind the ad, The Gate, had not contacted the platform holder to ask about using a controller that bears a close likeness to PlayStation’s pad.

I think anyone could infer that being active means you’ll be healthier. But in the ad, it surely look as though playing PlayStation = death to children.

It’s up to you, what do you think? I think suing should ensue!

Clearly a PlayStation look-alike controller!
