Bayonetta Has MW2 Syndrome, Delayed to 2010

Publisher Sega has announced that Platinum Games’s Bayonetta won’t be able to make it out this year.

The Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 has been delayed to January 2010. Despite this, however, the Japanese version will still release in October.

Sega president Mike Hayes stated, “…as a result of market analysis we have taken a Publishing decision that January 2010 is the optimum release time in the Western Markets to maximize this exciting new title’s potential.”

Sounds like the Modern Warfare 2 syndrome.
