Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam Dated

EA has announced that Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam will be releasing for PC on December 18, with Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 releases on December 21. The price is set at $15 or 1200 Microsoft Points. All versions will include four new playable maps and skins as well as period era weapons and vehicles.

In addition, the free VIP Map Pack 7 will release tomorrow, December 1st. Players can get their hands on four maps, two of which are being brought back from the original Bad Company multiplayer. The official BF:BC2 blog has more information on the types of modes each map will support.

The two slated downloadable content is primarily the reason why there was a huge 2.4GB BF:BC2 patch up on Xbox Live, PSN, and PC downloadable services currently. A majority has been attributed to game elements for Vietnam and Map Pack 7 but also includes bug fixes.
