Kaigaku Joins Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 with Infinity Castle Update

SEGA and CyberConnect2 have announced that Kaigaku, the Upper Rank demon who appears in the new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle film, has officially joined the roster of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 as the latest DLC character.

Players can purchase Kaigaku individually as a Character Pack for $4.99, or unlock him as part of the Infinity Castle Character Pass for $29.99. The new DLC includes Kaigaku as a playable fighter in Versus Mode, along with an exclusive profile photo, quotes, decorations, and mastery rewards.

To mark his arrival, a free title update (ver. 1.20) adds the Infinity Castle as a new stage for Versus Mode battles. The update lets players battle within the haunting, ever-shifting halls from the anime’s latest arc.

Experience Demon Slayer Like Never Before with the Anime Song Pack

In addition to Kaigaku’s debut, the newly released Anime Song Pack ($14.99) allows players to change the background music in Versus Mode to various tracks from the anime, including opening and ending themes from the TV series.

More Infinity Castle Characters Coming Soon

Fans can look forward to more content as part of the Infinity Castle Character Pass, with Zenitsu Agatsuma (Infinity Castle) confirmed to join the lineup in December 2025.
