Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection Releasing April 19

Square-Enix announced that Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection will make its way to North America, setting a release date for April 19 in the process. A release in Europe was mentioned with the placeholder date of “Spring.”

The Complete Collection includes updated graphics for Final Fantasy IV and its seuqel, The After Years. The After Years was sold as episodic content on WiiWare, amount to at least $40 for the complete set. However, Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection will retail for a mere $29.99.

Square has not mentioned a PSN release, which doesn’t bode well considering its last PSP game – Birth by Sleep – was not made available on the Playstation Store.

UPDATE: Trailer now available.
