Captivate ’11: Dead Rising 2 Off The Record Remakes Sequel, Stars Frank West

Capcom has announced the “reimagining” of the Dead Rising franchise, reintroducing the sequel from the perspective of photojournalist Frank West which is set for release this Fall. Details were given at the company’s annual Captivate event. Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will bring back the photo ops from the first game, as well as new combos, enemies, and environments. It also promises future technological improvements to make online play a better experience.

Off the Record is slated for release this Fall for PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. It is assumed the game will be a full retail release.
