Deep Silver announced today that Dead Island is available for preorder on Steam along with a pre-purchase offer allowing players to take advantage of the 4-player co-op gameplay as you can purchase a 4-copy bundle for $149.97, making each individual copy essentially $10 less for $39.99.
Additionally, pre-ordering Dead Island allows players to receive the exclusive Ripper weapon and the first DLC pack, Bloodbath Arena. Bloodbath Arena consists of a separate game mode for Dead Island where you fight against waves of zombies to loot money and XP that transfer over to the regular game. Dead Island releases September 6, 2012 for PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
