Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale Announced

Sony has announced its answer to Super Smash Bros today in the form of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. Developed by SuperBot Entertainment, a studio founded solely for the purpose of building this game, the four-player brawler has confirmed Kratos, Parappa the Rapper, Sly Cooper, Colonel Radec, Sweet Tooth, and Fat Princess as playable characters. The studio has hinted that third-party characters may be in the game but we probably won’t see any reveals till E3.

Players will duke it out on Sony-themed worlds and environments including God of War’s Hades, Ratchet & Clank’s Metropolis, and Jak & Daxter’s Sandover Village. All Stars Battle Royale features multiple single-player and multiplayer game modes along with online play and a “tournament” option. More details on the Playstation Blog. Who do you think will be in All-Stars?
