E3 2012: New Music Service Coming to Xbox, More Sports Viewing Options


Microsoft announced a new music service and more sports channels for the Xbox 360 during their E3 press conference.

The music service is called Xbox Music, and will feature 30 million tracks. Xbox music will be available for the Xbox 360, PC, tablets and phones.

Microsoft also announced a few more sports channels for the 360, expanding their sports entertainment package for the console. ESPN will start providing 24-hour sports coverage, while pushing their multiple channels. NBA and NHL channels will also land in the Xbox 360 dashboard when their next seasons begin.
