Dreadlocks and BadLand Games brings a release date and a trailer for their upcoming cyberpunk side-scroller, Dex. Players assume the role of Dex, a sentient AI, as she searches for the Singularity, a theoretical “event horizon” in which artificial intelligence surpasses all of human intelligence.
Dex is fully voice-acted, and features hand drawn characters and animations, as well as a unique progression system that allows players to customize their character into whatever type of fighter they see fit.
Dex releases for the PS4 and Xbox One on July 8th, with Wii U and Playstation Vita versions expected to arrive at a later date. For more information, check out the trailer above.
