Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake 2 came out last October, and at the Summer Game Fest showcase, they revealed its upcoming expansion Night Springs. Fans of the series will recognize that name as being the title of an in-game TV show, and this expansion features three episodes with three playable characters as Alan writes scripts for “Night Springs” while seeking an escape from the Dark Place.
Night Springs will be out tomorrow, June 8. It is available as part of the Expansion Pass for Alan Wake 2.
A second expansion is also due out later this year.
However, that wasn’t the end of Alan Wake 2 news. Tomorrow, the game will also receive a free update that adds Photo Mode, with details provided in the official PlayStation blog post. Remedy also announced physical Deluxe and Collector’s Editions that will be available to preorder tomorrow as well, news much-awaited by fans.
