Comedy “Slapformer” Thank Goodness You’re Here! Launches August 1

Developer Coal Supper and publisher Panic have announced that their upcoming comedy “slapformer” game Thank Goodness You’re Here! will be released on August 1 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store). Set in a bizarre Northern English town, the game follows a traveling salesman taking odd jobs from the locals.

As you complete different odd jobs, new areas of the city open up along with more tasks that become more involved as you progress. The game features hand-drawn animation, full voice acting with authentic regional dialects, and “wall-to-wall double entendres.”

Thank Goodness You’re Here! will be out on August 1, but a short demo is available now on Steam as part of Steam Next Fest.
