EA and Lucasfilm Games took to the stage at Star Wars Celebration Japan to officially reveal Star Wars Zero Company, a single-player turn-based tactics game set during the waning days of the Clone Wars. Developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, the upcoming title will launch in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
In Zero Company, players step into the role of Hawks, a former Republic officer turned mercenary leader, who commands a squad of battle-hardened operatives through high-stakes missions across the galaxy. The team—known as Zero Company—comprises professionals from all walks of galactic life, united under one banner to face an emerging threat that could upend the already fragile balance of the Clone Wars era.
“Our vision for Star Wars Zero Company is grounded in gameplay design pillars that weave in the immersive Star Wars galaxy with engaging turn-based tactics gameplay,” said Greg Foertsch, CEO and Creative Director at Bit Reactor. “We’re crafting a game where player choices have real consequences, wrapped in a gritty Clone Wars-era narrative.”
Douglas Reilly, GM & VP at Lucasfilm Games, added, “We’ve wanted to create a Star Wars tactics game for a long time. The best tactics games are all about meaningful decisions, and we believe Bit Reactor is the perfect squad to bring that vision to life.”
