RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of The Soulless Army Launches June 19 with New Content and Voice Acting

ATLUS is calling all devil summoners back to duty. The cult favorite RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of The Soulless Army officially launches June 19, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and both Nintendo Switch consoles. This new version of the 2006 Shin Megami Tensei spin-off brings fresh visuals, new voice acting, and plenty of quality-of-life upgrades to a beloved PS2-era gem.

A Stylish, Supernatural Mystery Set in Alt-History Tokyo

Set during a fictionalized Taisho-era Japan, players step into the shoes of Raidou Kuzunoha the 14th, a devil summoner and private detective working alongside the wisecracking cat Gouto. A missing person case quickly spirals into a conspiracy involving the Imperial Army, mechanical soldiers, and ancient demons.

From the neon-soaked streets of Ginza-cho to the smoky underground labs of Tsukudo-cho, players will explore and investigate a stylish Tokyo filled with strange characters and paranormal oddities.

Fully Voiced, Feature-Rich, and Fan-Powered

This marks the first time the game has full voice acting in both English and Japanese. ATLUS has also added fan-requested enhancements like:

  • Case Files side quests
  • Trial of a Hundred Demons challenge mode
  • New Game+ features like Detective Legend difficulty
  • New demon fusion recipes
  • Raiho Jack Frost, the cosplaying demon detective
  • Sword Alchemy and quality-of-life upgrades to combat

Plus, pre-orders come with a cosmetic “Raidou Glasses” bonus.

Free Post-Launch DLC and a Plushie Sweepstakes

ATLUS has confirmed that Demonic Designations: Summoner Titles—a fan-voted DLC pack—will release for free on July 3. This adds 10 community-submitted titles for Raidou to equip, including seven from North America and three from Southeast Asia.

Fans can also test their detective mettle in the newly announced “Mysterious Cases” Sweepstakes, which runs from May 9 to June 20. Solve a trio of in-universe mysteries to win a retro-style Raiho plushie (US & Canada only).

Big Names, Small Details, and a Lot of Demons

Beyond the main story, RAIDOU Remastered is packed with nods to longtime ATLUS fans and JRPG veterans:

  • Facilities like Konnou-ya and the Shin-Sekai Soda Joint return for upgrades and buffs
  • Voice actors breathe new life into a roster of charmingly weird NPCs
  • Mahjong mini-games and demon fusion mechanics offer depth between cases
  • New visual filters and difficulty options modernize the classic experience

Pre-Orders Now Live for Standard and Deluxe Editions

The Standard Edition is priced at $49.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition ($64.99) includes a digital artbook, soundtrack, and early unlocks.
