Square Enix has announced that Killer Inn, its upcoming multiplayer murder mystery action game, will kick off its first Closed Beta Test (CBT) on Friday, July 25 at 3:00 p.m. PDT / 6:00 p.m. EDT, with testing running through Monday, July 28. Players eager to step into this unique blend of deception and action can sign up now on Steam to be among the first to enter the inn of secrets and survival.
What is Killer Inn?
Killer Inn combines social deduction and high-stakes action into a stylish, sinister package. While Square Enix is still keeping some of the gameplay twists under wraps, early footage hints at a tense blend of stealth, strategy, and surprise attacks in an eerie inn full of danger—and hidden killers. Think “Clue meets Dead by Daylight” with a uniquely Square Enix flair.
How to Join the Closed Beta
Players can sign up via the Steam page here. Selected participants will be notified by email when the test begins. Steam registration will remain open throughout the test period, and more players may be invited as testing ramps up.
The goal of this first beta is to stress-test network features and server stability, with player feedback gathered through a survey after each session. This won’t be the only test, either—Square Enix has confirmed that additional beta waves will arrive in the future.
