Quarantine Zone: The Last Check Hits 1M Wishlists, Launches November

The end of the world is getting organized. Devolver Digital has officially teamed up with Brigada Games to publish Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, the darkly immersive apocalyptic admin sim now set to release in November 2025 on Steam. The announcement comes as the game surpasses 1 million Steam wishlists, further solidifying its viral appeal.

Originally revealed back in May, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check has quickly captured attention thanks to its grimly bureaucratic take on the zombie apocalypse. With over 1.8 million players already trying the free demo, it’s clear that fans are ready to get their hands dirty at humanity’s last line of defense.

Apocalypse by Paperwork

In Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, players take on the role of a government checkpoint officer deep in the throes of a spreading zombie outbreak. Your job? Decide who gets to live behind the fence—and who doesn’t. The challenge is far more than stamping passports: you’ll interrogate survivors, review documents, and make impossible calls in an increasingly desperate bid to keep the infection out while keeping your conscience intact.

Every decision you make affects not only the lives of the people trying to cross the checkpoint, but also the fragile society behind it. And with pressure mounting by the day, survival comes down to one thing: your judgment.

Manage, Maintain, and Survive

Beyond the tense survivor screenings, The Last Check includes a heavy dose of resource and base management. You’ll be in charge of your outpost’s:

  • Food and fuel supplies
  • Defense systems
  • Lodging logistics
  • Evacuation and extraction priorities

As the situation outside worsens, your outpost becomes a battleground not just against the undead—but against hunger, civil unrest, and moral decay.

Demo Infects Over 1.8 Million Players

The success of the playable demo, which quietly dropped shortly after the game’s reveal, has been staggering. In just two months, more than 1.8 million players have already taken on the role of checkpoint commander, making the game one of the most anticipated indie releases of the year.

With Devolver Digital now onboard and the Steam wishlist count crossing the 1 million mark, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is shaping up to be an end-of-year standout.

Expect the full game to launch this November on PC via Steam, and keep an eye on updates as Brigada Games tightens the barricades.
