Silver Lining Interactive and Square Glade Games have released the very first developer diary for their upcoming “cozyvival” campervan adventure, Outbound. Titled Journey’s Beginning, the video introduces players to the game’s crafting and foraging systems, with Square Glade Games’ co-founder Marc Volger walking fans through the heart of the experience.
Outbound combines survival mechanics with cozy, creative expression as players transform a modest campervan into a personal mobile home. Every tree harvested, every panel painted, and every meal cooked contributes to a story that’s as much about identity as it is about exploration.

Set in a vibrant, near-future utopia, Outbound drops you into the driver’s seat of your campervan and challenges you to forge a sustainable life while exploring diverse landscapes. The game offers both solo play and online co-op for up to three friends, giving players the chance to share their journeys.
