Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac Launches Sept. 26 with Co-Op, Full Voice Acting & More

Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, a full remake of the 2002 fan-favorite 3D platformer, officially launches on September 26, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Bandai Namco announced the remake during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, revealing a slew of modern enhancements—including couch co-op, full voice acting, and new collectibles.

A Classic Reborn, with Modern Upgrades

The original Pac-Man World 2 sold millions of copies across platforms and became one of the most beloved 3D platformers of its era. Re-PAC brings the 2002 gem into the modern age with overhauled visuals, streamlined controls, and a host of new features. These include:

  • Full voice acting for Pac-Man and friends, giving the colorful cast more personality than ever before.
  • New collectibles and customization options allow players to tailor their experience as they hop, chomp, and roll their way through PAC-LAND.
  • 2-player couch co-op, a first for the Pac-Man World series, lets fans tackle the adventure side by side.

Classic Levels, Enhanced and Expanded

In Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, players will journey across six diverse worlds—from lush meadows to snowy peaks and fiery volcanoes—battling the classic Ghost Gang and the mysterious boss Spooky. Each environment has been remade from the ground up with new level geometry, visual flourishes, and gameplay improvements while keeping the original’s structure and nostalgia intact.

Fans who played Pac-Man World Re-Pac (2022) will also be rewarded with a special TOC-MAN costume in the new game.
