With the launch of Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree just around the corner, Bandai Namco has released two new trailers highlighting the game’s original soundtrack, composed by the legendary Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII, Valkyria Chronicles). Each trailer offers a distinct aural flavor, giving players a taste of the tonal balance that defines the upcoming RPG.
The Tranquility Trailer – Lo-Fi Beats for Peaceful Village Life
The “Tranquility” version showcases six relaxing tracks designed to embody the peaceful Shinju village where the game begins. From training at the local dojo to sharing a warm meal in the village restaurant, these calming pieces immerse players in the daily rhythms of life before the storm. For those in the back-to-school mindset, these tracks even double as lo-fi beats perfect for studying or winding down.
The Tempest Trailer – High-Energy Battle Themes
The “Tempest” version shifts gears, highlighting the pulse-pounding battle tracks that accompany the game’s combat. Sakimoto’s energetic compositions underscore the urgency and danger of fending off Magaori hordes, leading players toward the climactic battle against the Magatsu. Designed to be played loud, these tracks lock players into the chaos of combat with explosive energy.
