Annapurna Interactive has unveiled Demi and the Fractured Dream, a stylish action-adventure game developed by Yarn Owl, during its 2025 digital showcase. Fans can play the game for the first time at Tokyo Game Show 2025.
A Voidsent Hero’s Journey
Players step into the role of Demi, a voidsent cursed by fate, as they search for escape. Guided by a mysterious voice and accompanied by Mergo, an acolyte ally, Demi embarks on a perilous quest across diverse landscapes to fulfill his destiny.
The game is described as a love letter to classic action-adventure titles, featuring hack-and-slash combat, environmental puzzles, and platforming challenges, all wrapped in a sweeping narrative.
Release Plans
Demi and the Fractured Dream is set to launch in 2026 for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows.
