Digimon Story: Time Stranger Demo Out Now on Consoles and PC Ahead of October Launch

Bandai Namco has released a brand-new demo for Digimon Story: Time Stranger, giving fans and newcomers alike a chance to experience the game’s opening chapters before its full release on October 3rd for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Two Demo Sections to Explore

The demo lets players dive into the prologue, stepping into the role of an ADAMAS agent investigating strange disturbances around Shinjuku. Any progress made here will carry over into the full release, ensuring a seamless continuation for those ready to commit on launch day.

After completing the prologue, players can access a second demo mission that skips ahead into the Digital World of Iliad, offering a taste of the game’s exploration and questing. Progress made in this section won’t transfer, but it gives a solid glimpse of what lies ahead.

A Perfect Entry Point for RPG Fans

Digimon Story: Time Stranger is being pitched as an ideal starting point for both Digimon veterans and newcomers to the series. Split between real-world Japan and the Digital World, the story emphasizes the bonds between humans and Digimon as players fight, evolve, and uncover the mysteries threatening both worlds.

With deep RPG mechanics, bond-driven progression, and a fresh new setting in Iliad, Time Stranger is shaping up to be one of the franchise’s most ambitious entries yet.
