Nintendo has finally revealed the launch details for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, the long-awaited continuation of Samus Aran’s story. The game will arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on December 4, 2025, alongside a new line of amiibo figures.
A Mysterious New World – and New Powers
After a sudden accident, Samus is transported to the planet Viewros, a strange and hostile environment brimming with secrets. Players will once again scan, explore, and unravel mysteries while relying on Samus’s arsenal of weapons and upgrades.
This time, however, Samus gains psychic abilities to complement her combat and exploration skills. She also wields the Vi-O-La, a technologically advanced bike that expands traversal options and adds a fresh twist to the Prime formula. Survival on Viewros won’t be easy, but every new tool counts in the fight to escape.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond amiibo Lineup
To celebrate the release, three new Metroid Prime 4: Beyond amiibo figures are on the way:
- Samus (Metroid Prime 4: Beyond) – Launches November 6, 2025

Nintendo has confirmed that these amiibo will feature unique functionality in-game, though details will be announced at a later date.
