Glassbreakers Launches November 13 on Apple Vision Pro, Meta, and Steam with Full Cross-Platform Play

Developer Polyarc has announced that its fast-paced action-strategy title, Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss, will officially launch on November 13 across Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, and Steam. The game marks a major milestone as the first-ever Unreal Engine title to release on Apple Vision Pro through Apple Arcade, featuring full cross-platform play across all devices.

Glassbreakers will retail for $19.99, with Meta players able to pre-order now for a 20% discount and receive an exclusive Founder Pack. Steam players will receive the same discount at launch, while Apple Arcade members can dive into the game directly on release day. Players on Meta can also register for the Glassbreakers Preview Weekend, running October 24–26, for an early hands-on experience.

A First for Apple Vision Pro

Built entirely in Unreal Engine, Glassbreakers is the first title to integrate the technology with visionOS, showcasing seamless cross-platform play between Apple, Meta, and PC players.

“It took a lot of work to integrate Unreal Engine with visionOS,” said Jason Tranchida, lead engineer at Polyarc. “Doing so not only brought Glassbreakers to Apple Vision Pro, but also paved the way for other studios to bring Unreal Engine games to the platform.”

Polyarc collaborated closely with Apple to fully leverage Vision Pro’s hand tracking, eye gaze, and gesture-based controls, creating what Tranchida describes as “a truly magical experience that feels intuitive and immersive.”

“You feel like a wizard at work,” added Danny Bulla, co-founder of Polyarc. “It’s such a fun experience to use nothing but your hands and eyes to control your Champions. It’s a completely new way to play games.”

Optimized for High Performance and Visual Fidelity

The Polyarc team spent the past year optimizing Unreal Engine to maximize the Vision Pro’s capabilities, implementing techniques like multiview rendering, multilayering, and fixed foveated rendering. These improvements enhanced fidelity and framerate, allowing Glassbreakers to deliver the crisp visuals and smooth performance players expect from Polyarc’s acclaimed craftsmanship.

In an effort to support other developers, Polyarc plans to release its custom Unreal Engine fork with all visionOS enhancements publicly after launch.
