Blumhouse Games and Eyes Out, the studio founded by Cory Davis (Spec Ops: The Line) and Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails), revealed during the Galaxies Autumn Showcase that their immersive horror title Sleep Awake will launch on December 2, 2025, for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The newly released trailer offers a chilling look at the game’s haunting world, where reality, dreams, and death collide in surreal, psychedelic terror. Players can wishlist Sleep Awake now on Steam and PlayStation, and a free demo is available as part of the Steam Scream Fest.
Stay Awake, or Disappear Forever
Set in the last known city on Earth, Sleep Awake drops players into a society on the brink of collapse, one where sleep means obliteration. As Katja, players must navigate a decaying world whose residents desperately fight to stay conscious, turning to extreme experiments and occult rituals to escape the mysterious phenomenon known as The Hush, which causes those who sleep to vanish.
Blending psychological horror, immersive exploration, and narrative-driven puzzles, the game invites players to face depraved cults, confront fractured memories, and piece together the truth behind humanity’s final nightmare.
The Horror Continues with Blumhouse Games
Sleep Awake joins Blumhouse Games’ expanding slate of indie horror projects, which includes Eyes of Hellfire (Gambrinous) and Crisol: Theater of Idols (Vermila Studios). The publisher, a division of the iconic film studio behind The Purge, M3GAN, Paranormal Activity, and Five Nights at Freddy’s, continues to bridge cinema and interactive horror through collaborations with creative, independent developers.
