THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games have released a major new update for Titan Quest II, bringing long-requested features and quality-of-life improvements to the mythological action-RPG currently in Early Access.
Customize Your Hero Like Never Before
The highlight of this patch is the brand-new Character Creator, allowing players to personalize their hero’s appearance in greater depth than ever before. From facial features and hairstyles to armor color palettes, the Character Creator gives fans the tools to craft truly unique heroes. Players can also share their creations with the community, inspiring new mythic champions across the world of Titan Quest II.
Clarity Through Explanation Tooltips
Also included in the update is the introduction of Explanation Tooltips, a new nested tooltip system that provides in-depth descriptions of abilities, stats, and combat mechanics. Whether you’re deciphering complex attribute scaling or comparing skill synergies, these tooltips offer valuable insights that make mastering Titan Quest II’s intricate systems easier and more rewarding.
Quality-of-Life Improvements and Classic Throwbacks
Beyond the headline features, the patch delivers a host of balance changes, bug fixes, and UI improvements. Subtitles have been added to improve accessibility, while the sound design has received notable refinements to make combat and environmental effects feel even more immersive.
To celebrate the update, the developers have recreated two classic hero appearances from the original Titan Quest, which can be unlocked using special in-game codes listed at the end of the official changelog.

Titan Quest II is available now in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store for $29.99, with continuous updates planned as the game marches toward its full release.
