EverStone Studio has unveiled new gameplay details for its highly anticipated open-world Wuxia action-adventure RPG, Where Winds Meet, during a special digital preview showcase. Alongside the new footage, the studio announced that the game has surpassed 10 million pre-registrations ahead of its global launch on November 14, 2025, for PC and PlayStation 5. Players can begin pre-downloading the game starting November 12 at 2 PM PST.

The showcase introduced viewers to Qinghe, a tranquil region filled with hidden mysteries, and Kaifeng, a bustling city home to over 10,000 NPCs, each with unique motivations and stories. Players can uncover more than 1,200 cultural artifacts, transforming exploration into a deeply immersive journey through Chinese heritage.
Refined Combat and Martial Arts Mastery
Combat in Where Winds Meet is fast, flexible, and highly customizable. Players can master traditional weapons such as swords and spears, or experiment with fantastical Wuxia tools like umbrellas and fans. The game features 12 Martial Arts sets and 23 mystical techniques, choreographed by Stephen Tung Wai, a four-time Hong Kong Film Award winner for Best Action Choreography.
The narrative intertwines both visible and hidden storylines, encouraging players to piece together clues scattered throughout the world through environmental details and NPC interactions, as they uncover a conspiracy tied to the imperial court.

EverStone Studio reaffirmed that Where Winds Meet will launch as a completely free experience, with no restrictions on content, modes, or progression. The developers stated, “All the newly released gameplay will be completely free to play.” Players can explore, fight, or live as wanderers, embracing the game’s open-ended philosophy of love, justice, and limitless freedom.
Seasons of the Sword: Post-Launch Roadmap
Following launch, EverStone Studio plans to release seasonal updates beginning with Season One: “Blade Out.” Each season will expand the story and add new modes, events, and gameplay experiences, ensuring Where Winds Meet continues to evolve as the definitive open-world Wuxia experience.
