LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Release Date Set in New Trailer

A colorful new LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight trailer dropped during the Game Awards, giving a release date for the highly anticipated upcoming LEGO title.

In addition to the release date, the video gives fans a look at some of the many villains that will be appearing throughout the game, including Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Firefly, and Mr. Freeze. Several movie-inspired versions of villains pop up, such as both Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson’s versions of the Joker, Danny DeVito’s Penguin, and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. Freeze.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is set to release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 29, 2026. The game will be available for pre-order at 8 P.M. PST.

“Joining the Caped Crusader in the fight to save Gotham City are Robin with his trusty line launcher, Nightwing and his battle staff, Batgirl sporting her versatile hackarang, and Catwoman with her signature whip and loyal companion kitten – all equipped with their own unique abilities, progression trees, combos, and gadgets,” reads an official press release.
