During the pre-show for tonight’s Game Awards, a reveal trailer was shown for the upcoming title from Frame Interactive, The Free Shepherd.
In The Free Shepherd, you assume the role of a loyal border collie who travels a “beautiful and mysterious world” in order to save several flocks of lost sheep. The trailer shows the main canine wandering through huge and lush areas filled with sweeping greenery (which are inspired by Iceland) on its quest to gather the lost flocks. Music for the title is being composed by Vermont-based cellist Zoë Keating.
The game is now available to wishlist and, according to a press release, will be released for PlayStation 5 and PC in 2027.
