Puppergeist Demo Now Live for Steam Next Fest

The demo for Puppergeist is now live as part of Steam Next Fest, inviting players to step into a heartfelt and musical journey through the Doggie Underworld.

Blending the charm of a visual novel with rhythm-based gameplay, Puppergeist follows a determined witch who ventures into a mysterious afterlife realm in search of her lost Pup. With Steam Next Fest now underway, players can experience the opening chapters of her emotional adventure and get a taste of the game’s unique mix of storytelling and musical interaction.

A Heartwarming Tale Beneath the Surface

At its core, Puppergeist is a story about love, loss, and connection. As the witch descends into the Doggie Underworld, she encounters a cast of dog spirits, each with their own personalities, memories, and unfinished business. Through dialogue-driven narrative sequences and rhythm-based musical moments, players gradually uncover the stories of these spectral companions as they move closer to finding the missing Pup.

The Doggie Underworld itself is presented as a whimsical yet emotional space, balancing lighthearted canine charm with themes of longing and remembrance. The demo offers a first look at this world, introducing players to its tone, characters, and core mechanics.

Rhythm Meets Visual Novel

Unlike traditional visual novels, Puppergeist integrates rhythm gameplay directly into its storytelling. Musical sequences serve as emotional turning points, allowing players to connect more deeply with the spirits they meet. Timing, melody, and narrative intertwine to create a distinctive experience that stands out among indie releases featured during Steam Next Fest.

With the demo available for a limited time during the festival, now is the perfect opportunity for players to explore the Doggie Underworld, meet its unforgettable residents, and begin a journey that promises both heartfelt storytelling and musical charm.
