Dead by Daylight: The Board Game is getting a major expansion with the newly announced Auris Box, a storage-focused release that also introduces new content and gameplay formats.
Developer Level 99 Games, in partnership with Behaviour Interactive, confirmed that the Auris Campaign will launch on Gamefound on June 16, 2026, and run for approximately four weeks.
A new collector’s box and additional content
The Auris Box is designed as a collector’s storage solution for existing Dead by Daylight: The Board Game content, bringing everything together in one place for players who have expanded their collection.
Alongside the storage box, the campaign will introduce a new Survivor and a new Killer, as well as two new maps to explore. These additions continue to build on previous expansions like Malicious and Lightbringer, which expanded the roster and gameplay variety.
New ways to play with alternate formats
One of the biggest additions in the Auris campaign is the introduction of three new play formats, expanding how players can experience the game:
- Survive Alone – A dedicated 2-player mode
- Survive Together – A cooperative mode where Survivors face an automated Killer
- Kill Alone – A solo mode where players control the Killer against automated Survivors
These modes aim to make the board game more flexible, offering options for smaller groups and solo players.
Expanding the Dead by Daylight board game experience
Based on the hit horror game, Dead by Daylight: The Board Game recreates the asymmetrical gameplay of the original, with four Survivors working together to escape while a Killer hunts them down.
The Auris campaign looks to expand that formula further with new content and alternative ways to play.
