Indie Pass will launch on April 13, 2026, for PC, with indie.io introducing a new subscription platform built exclusively around indie games.
The service will be available through indiepass.com and will launch with a library of more than 70 titles, with additional games planned to be added regularly. indie.io says the platform is designed to give players a lower-cost way to access a wide range of indie releases while also offering developers and publishers another path to reach new audiences.
A subscription platform focused entirely on indie games
At launch, Indie Pass will cost $6.99 per month, with regional pricing and annual subscription options also planned. Subscribers will get unlimited access to a library spanning multiple genres, rather than focusing on a single genre.
The initial catalog will include games from indie.io’s own publishing lineup, including titles such as Echoes of the Plum Grove and the Dark Deity series. The company also says more partner titles will be announced.
A non-exclusive model for developers and publishers
For developers and publishers, indie.io says Indie Pass uses a non-exclusive participation model, with revenue distributed based on how much time players spend in each game. The company is positioning that structure to create an ongoing revenue stream beyond a game’s initial launch window.
According to indie.io, the platform will launch with access to its existing network and community reach, which it says connects to more than 10 million monthly users across its publishing and community channels.
