Singularity 6 has announced that Palia has surpassed 10 million players across its growing list of platforms and regions. To mark the milestone, the studio is launching a limited-time in-game celebration event ahead of the release of the game’s next major update, the Royal Highlands expansion, which arrives on May 12.
The update will continue Palia’s evolving story while opening up what Singularity 6 says is the game’s biggest Adventure Zone yet.
Royal Highlands Expands Palia’s Story on May 12
The Royal Highlands expansion will take players into a new region filled with golden fields, hidden treasures, and more mysteries tied to Ancient Humans. According to Singularity 6, the update will continue storylines involving existing characters while also introducing a new character named Eshelon, who will play a key role in the new area.
The expansion also adds horses to Palia, giving players a new way to travel through the Royal Highlands as they take on new quests and explore the update’s larger map.
10 Million Players Celebration Event Starts Now
Before Royal Highlands arrives, Palia players can take part in the 10 Million Players Celebration Event, which runs now through May 11. During the event, players can earn up to two free Mystery Premium Outfits, collect event-exclusive plushes, and take advantage of a 25% discount on the game’s Starter and Founder’s Packs.
Singularity 6 says this is the first time players have been able to earn premium cosmetics for free in Palia. To unlock rewards, players simply need to log in during the event and complete daily quests.
A Major Milestone for Palia
In a statement included with the announcement, Singularity 6 CEO and co-founder Anthony Leung said the team originally set out to build a high-fantasy game that felt like a home away from home, and credited the player community with helping shape Palia into what it is now.
That next step arrives on May 12 with Royal Highlands, which looks set to push Palia’s story and exploration forward in a big way.
Available Now Across Multiple Platforms
Palia is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, GeForce Now, and the game’s official site.
