Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment America have announced that The Blood of Dawnwalker will launch on September 3, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders are now available digitally and through major retailers.
The news was shared during the game’s Road to Launch Event, which featured a new story trailer, fresh gameplay footage, PC system requirements, edition details, and behind-the-scenes looks at the development process.
A Dark Fantasy RPG Set in the Carpathian Mountains
The Blood of Dawnwalker takes place in 14th-century Europe, where war and the Black Death have weakened the continent. In the middle of that chaos, a clique of powerful vampires begins to seize control.
Players take on the role of Coen, a young man who becomes a Dawnwalker, trapped between humanity and vampirism. His story centers on saving his family from Brencis, a vampire lord ruling over Vale Sangora, a region in the Carpathian Mountains.
New Trailer and Gameplay Show Player Consequences
The new story trailer introduces several characters Coen will meet during his journey, including potential allies and enemies. Rebel Wolves also showed new locations across Vale Sangora and offered a closer look at how the studio is building its open world.
The gameplay presentation included more than 10 minutes of footage from a recent PC build, focusing on narrative-driven exploration. Players can uncover hidden secrets, unlock abilities, and face choices that affect the balance of power in the valley.

Pre-orders are live now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Rebel Wolves confirmed several editions, including the standard digital edition, a Day One Edition, the Eclipse Edition, and a limited Collector’s Edition.
