Metro 2039 will be officially unveiled during Xbox First Look: Metro 2039 on Thursday, April 16, Microsoft announced.
The digital-only broadcast will feature a world premiere look at the next entry in the Metro series from 4A Games and Deep Silver. The upcoming title will be the fourth mainline game in the franchise, following Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light, and Metro Exodus.

Xbox First Look: Metro 2039 begins on April 16 at 10:00 AM PT.
The event will stream as a YouTube Premiere through the official Xbox YouTube channel.
Recap will be published after the event
For viewers who miss the live reveal, Xbox says the Xbox Wire team will publish a full recap immediately after the broadcast. Localized recap coverage will also be available in Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Latin American Spanish, and Japanese.
The next mainline Metro game
Metro 2039 is the next game based on the novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky, continuing the post-apocalyptic series centered on survivors living in the Moscow subway tunnels and the ruined world above.
