Rever Games and Radical Theory have announced that Clockfall will launch into Steam Early Access on May 28, 2026. The action RPG roguelite also received a new gameplay overview trailer, which shows how time shapes its dungeon-crawling and village-defense systems.
The game is also planned for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2027.
Time Is the Main Resource
In Clockfall, players fight through dungeons, gather resources, defeat enemies, and battle bosses while trapped in a time loop. Every run is shaped by the clock, forcing players to choose between improving their build or spending progress to buy more time.
Players can upgrade combat stats, unlock weapons, and learn spells, but survival depends on managing each moment carefully.
Dungeon Crawling Meets Village Defense
Clockfall also ties dungeon runs to settlement defense. Resources and upgrades found during each run can be used to strengthen both the hero and the village before enemy invasion waves arrive.
Successfully defending the village earns permanent upgrades, helping players grow stronger across runs and push further toward breaking the loop.
