Dangen Entertainment and Alkacer Game Studio have announced Magical Blush, a spell-focused 2D action-adventure coming to PC and consoles. The PC version is set to launch this summer, with Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S versions planned for a later date.
The announcement arrived with a new trailer shown during gamescom LATAM, highlighting the game’s elemental combat, pixel art, and exploration systems.
A Top-Down Take on Metroidvania Exploration
Magical Blush follows Arnin, a powerful mage and guardian of the Elemental Lords. After returning from the astral plane, she finds the land of Wyn devastated after the Elemental Lords are released by a mysterious figure.
Players will explore branching stages, rescue survivors, unlock abilities, and return to earlier areas with new powers to find hidden paths and secrets.
Elemental Combat Drives the Action
Combat centers on chaining spells tied to fire, water, earth, wind, and spirit. Each element has strengths and weaknesses, pushing players to adjust their spell choices and timing during fights.
Players can also upgrade spells, equip gear to change Arnin’s abilities, and take on bosses tied to the game’s magical world.
Demo Available Now
A playable Magical Blush demo is available now on Steam, GOG, and itch.io. The PC version launches this summer, with console versions coming later.
