A New Look at Post-Apocalyptic Seoul
Alongside the Steam page launch, NC released a new developer preview featuring gameplay from the current build. The video includes commentary from Lead Concept Artist Samuel King and Project Manager GH Shin, who introduce the game’s setting and development goals.
Cinder City takes place in a ruined Seoul overrun by mutated creatures and criminal organizations. The story follows Seven as he sets out on a mission to rescue his daughter, Joi.
Open-World PvE Shooter Action
BigFire Games is building Cinder City as a cinematic third-person shooter with large open environments and multiplayer PvE gameplay. Players will work together to face threats across the city, taking on challenges tied to both survival and the game’s main story.
The latest preview shows the game’s core progression, cooperative structure, and enemy encounters, giving players a clearer sense of how exploration and combat will play out.
Wishlists Open Now
Cinder City does not yet have a release date, but players can now wishlist it on Steam and follow updates on the official website and Discord.
With its ruined Seoul setting, story-driven setup, and focus on multiplayer PvE, Cinder City is shaping up as one of NC’s major upcoming action projects.
