Goeland: Seagull Adventure Announced as a Chaotic Sandbox Seagull Game

Maarti Games has revealed Goeland: Seagull Adventure, a PC sandbox game where players take flight as a seagull that has just escaped from the vet.

Planned to launch later this year, the game lets players choose between being a helpful island bird or an absolute beachside menace.

Help People or Ruin Their Day

In Goeland: Seagull Adventure, players can help townsfolk by finding missing items, returning lost balloons, and dropping off parcels.

They can also give in to their worst instincts by stealing food, bothering beachgoers, and making a mess from above. It sounds like the kind of game where the “wrong” choice may be the point.

A Reactive Island Sandbox

Goeland: Seagull Adventure uses a reactive crowd system, making the island respond to the player’s actions.

The game also includes odd mechanics like hot dog tug-of-war and tic-tac-toe, with some unpleasant surprises. Fans of Untitled Goose Game and Just Crow Things will probably understand the tone right away.

More Than Bird Crime

Alongside the chaos, Goeland: Seagull Adventure also includes an island mystery.

Players can investigate secrets around the island and look into pollution spreading through the environment.

Goeland: Seagull Adventure is in development for PC and is planned to launch later this year.
