Devolver Digital and debut studio Dark Dark Goose have announced Hyperdrop, a PC pachinko roguelite about building scoring boards, chasing combos, and keeping one run alive for one more drop.
A demo for Hyperdrop is available now on Steam.
Build a Scoring Machine
Hyperdrop starts with an empty pegboard and turns it into a chain-reaction engine.
Players can upgrade pegs to split balls, send them back to the top of the board, pull them into gravity wells, or trigger explosions that ripple through the layout.
Upgrade Every Drop
Balls can also be upgraded with new traits.
Players can make them larger, add volatile energy, give them sticky properties, increase bounce, or use special balls with different physics behavior.
Even with all the chaos on screen, Hyperdrop still centers on player choice. You pick the drop spot, place pegs, choose upgrades, and try to stretch each run into a bigger score.
Stages, Bosses, and New Layouts
Runs move through harder stages with modifiers and boss battles that push players to rethink their builds.
After finishing a run, players can take on new challenges with alternate board layouts and new ways to play. The game also uses neon visuals and an electronic soundtrack that changes as your score climbs.
Coming Soon to PC
Hyperdrop is coming soon to PC.
Players can try the Steam demo now.
