Oddiko has released a new Meadgard demo trailer, with the Viking co-op restaurateur game now set to get its first demo shortly before October’s Steam Next Fest.
The demo has shifted from its previously planned August window, with the team taking extra time to polish the tavern chaos before players get their hands on it.
Gather Ingredients, Then Feed the Gods
Meadgard sends players into enchanted wilds to gather ingredients before racing back to run their tavern.
Some ingredients will need to be taken from goblins and other folkloric foes, giving each outing a mix of combat, gathering, and kitchen prep.
Co-Op Tavern Chaos
Players can take on Meadgard solo or with up to three friends.
The loop has players collect supplies, craft recipes, brew drinks, upgrade their tavern, and meet customer demands that grow stranger over time. Please the right Asgardian guest, and the tavern might earn divine favor. Mess it up, and things may get rough.
Recipes, Crops, and Norse Guests
Meadgard includes recipe crafting, crop growing, brewing, and tavern upgrades.
The cozy story will feature new takes on figures from Norse myth, along with original characters built around its rowdy tavern setup.
Coming to Steam Later This Year
Meadgard is planned for PC via Steam later this year.
The game will also take part in October’s Steam Next Fest, giving players a chance to try its first demo before launch.
