Clear River Games and City Connection have announced Ninja JaJaMaru: Yokai Night Parade, a hack-and-slash action RPG coming soon to Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, and PlayStation 5.
The new entry acts as a spiritual successor to Ninja JaJaMaru: The Great Yokai Battle, mixing classic ninja action with a 90s hip-hop-inspired take on yokai folklore.
Yokai Meets 90s Hip-Hop
Ninja JaJaMaru: Yokai Night Parade builds its style around “Yokai × Hip-Hop.”
The game pairs traditional Japanese folklore with street culture, rhythm, and fast-paced action. Players will leap across platforms, stomp enemies, and cut through hordes of yokai across dungeon-like stages.
Fast Combat and Upgradable Skills
Players can use multi-hit melee combos, unlimited ranged attacks, and different weapon types with their own attack animations.
The game also includes nine ultimate skills, each with five upgrade tiers, giving players more ways to clear rooms and handle tougher enemies.
Demo Planned for Gamescom
Ninja JaJaMaru: Yokai Night Parade will appear during the Pixel Arcadia digital showcase.
Players at Gamescom can also try a playable demo at the Clear River Games booth in Hall 10.2.
